11 Aug Our Favorite Dallas Wine Bars
We’re based in Dallas Ft. Worth and also self-proclaimed wine enthusiasts. The Pure Wine team has spent some quality time enjoying wine, food and great company all over this fine town.
Whether you’re looking to try a new spot, or make a suggestion to a friend for happy hour, we’ve got you covered. These are our go-to spots! Savor every sip!
With it’s casual Austin-vibe and week day happy hours, this is the spot if you’re north of town. Their killer pizza menu is inventive and delicious - all pizzas are made with 100% whole milk
Mozzarella, and their fresh dough is made with Lone Star Beer, so there’s that!
Ok, we admit The Ranch (pictured above) is technically not a wine bar, but it is still one of our favorite places to savor wine. Focused on relationships with Texas farmers, ranchers and fishermen, The Ranch consistently puts out some of the most delicious seasonal farm to fork faire around. Plus, there are patios and great live music. The robust wine list is curated by in-house Sommelier and Director of Operations, Judd Fruia. We also love that The Ranch uses the Coravin System, so you can have a glass of very high-end wine without buying the whole bottle!
Veritas is located in the always-popular Knox-Henderson area. It’s a cozy, casual spot with 350+ bottles of wine and 20 wines by the glass. The charcuterie menu offers meats and cheeses that are sourced right here in North Texas. But, if you’re not a meat and cheese person, you're welcome to bring in sushi from next-door. All glasses of wine are half-off on Mondays.
With awesome locations in both Dallas and Ft. Worth, Times Ten Cellars is not to be missed. Times Ten has a smart yet approachable vibe, with big leather chairs and cozy nooks. It offers three different flights that rotate, along with bottles and glasses, and it's also a winery! They sell their own wine, and you’re in for a treat. It’s cheese plates are like mini works of art. And, feel free to order a pizza from a local joint and have it delivered.
Located in bustling Addison in North Dallas, this is a swanky spot — candlelight, curtains, and lounge areas. Mercy has 100 wines by the glass and another 50 by the bottle from about every country so try something new! There’s also an impressive full service menu for pairing and sharing.
